Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers. The Fleet Engineering team is hiring multiple Engineering Managers to lead Fleet Reliability, HPC Deployments, Fleet Foundation, and Fleet Orchestration / Automation.

You will drive production systems infrastructure, from deployment to reliability, with executive visibility and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading or managing engineers in AI/ML infra or large-scale compute
• Experience owning production systems with SLAs
• Proficient in Linux and debugging across OS, hardware, networking
• Ability to design technically and drive alignment across teams
• Strong time-management and deadline discipline

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a distributed team of engineers responsible for deployment and operation of production systems infrastructure
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver projects and deployments on time
• Identify efficiency gains in tools, processes, and automation across teams
• Provide stakeholders with clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes
• Participate in qualification efforts for new technologies
• Manage staff allocation, priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Conduct regular 1:1s and support career development
• Contribute to reliability through Incident Management participation
