VIVA USA Inc is seeking a senior software engineer to enhance and maintain production-level graphics drivers for next-generation GPUs. You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to implement features and diagnose issues within the GPU-specific driver stack.

The candidate will validate GPU features for new hardware generations, requiring deep knowledge of GPU architectures, parallel processing, and low-level programming. Strong C/C++ and scripting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelors (or greater) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar program with a focus on Software Engineering.
• Excellent programming skills with demonstrated experience in C/C++.
• Strong problem solving, and debugging skills with a deep understanding of OO principles.
• 5-7 years of demonstrated software engineering experience.
• Experience in device driver development or equivalent close to hardware programming (embedded, OS/kernel, etc).
• Experience with complex software systems and architectures.
• Experience delivering production quality software on schedule.
• Experience with GPU hardware programming and parallel/asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of GPU and CPU architectures; OpenCL/CUDA, OpenGL, DirectX, or D3D experience.
• Programming skills in Perl/Python and Shell scripting.
