Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. seeks a Data Center Operations Technician II - GPU Specialist to maintain high-availability GPU compute environments and related data center infrastructure.

You will work with hardware, software, QA and systems engineering teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize next-gen computing platforms. The role requires strong data center operations background, GPU tech experience, and Linux/Windows administration, plus hands-on hardware installation and test infrastructure

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in data center operations or HPC infrastructure.
• Experience with GPU-based systems and large-scale deployments.
• Proficient in DCIM platforms such as Nautobot.
• Scripting with Shell, Python, and Ansible.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, SSL/TLS).
• Experience Linux/Windows/macOS administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage compute farm operations and ensure SLA compliance.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues in engineering labs.
• Support deployment, configuration, and lifecycle of GPU servers and test systems.
• Develop SOPs, runbooks, and documentation.
• Assist with automation and asset management using DCIM systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for validation and deployment.
