Job summary

NVIDIA in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Characterization Product Development Engineer to advance test architectures for next‑generation GPUs. You will drive CP test processes, analyze yield bottlenecks, and collaborate across design, foundry, DFT, test, planning and quality to improve silicon bring‑up, test time and reliability.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of product development experience; strong data analysis, problem solving, and scripting skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in product development engineering or related field.
• Strong problem solving and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Drive latest architecture designs to market as part of product engineering.
• Implement CP test processes to improve manufacturing efficiency for GPUs.
• Identify and resolve yield bottlenecks, analyze test failures, wafer & package level failures on ATE.
• Propose DOEs and develop solutions to complex characterization problems.
• Lead cross-functional efforts with design, foundry, DFT, test, planning and quality to root-cause problems.
• Influence future ASIC designs to improve test coverage, yield, and bring-up.
