Job summary

Graid Technology Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA, seeks a Customer Support Engineer (Post-Sales) to own installation, reproduction, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of our GPU-accelerated RAID for NVMe SSDs in Linux environments.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Sales to ensure seamless deployments and exceptional customer outcomes; Linux expertise is core and Windows knowledge is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Linux system administration experience (shell scripting, package management, kernel-level tuning).
• Familiarity with Linux storage subsystems, including NVMe, RAID concepts, I/O schedulers, and performance monitoring tools.
• Ability to diagnose complex issues using logs, traces, performance metrics, and reproduction setups.
• Experience with GPU hardware (e.g., NVIDIA) and understanding accelerators interaction with storage I/O.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Excellent communication skills with precise technical documentation.
• Nice to have: PowerShell, PerfMon/WPA traces, Windows networking implications.

Responsibilities

• Customer onboarding & implementation: guide customers through installation, configuration, and integration of the GPU-accelerated RAID solution into Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot & reproduce issues: build clean repro environments, isolate drivers/firmware variables, analyze logs and traces, deliver actionable resolutions.
• Performance optimization: investigate I/O behavior, latency, queue depth, and storage pipeline interactions; suggest tuning strategies for NVMe, GPU acceleration, PCIe, and OS subsystems.
• Customer advocacy: work with Engineering to report customer-impacting issues and influence product improvements.
• Knowledge development: create runbooks, diagnostic scripts, and guides for internal and customer-facing knowledge bases.
