MEI Group is hiring a full-time GPS installation technician in Arlington, TX. You will install, repair, and service GPS devices in vehicles for dealerships and customers, document actions, and follow manufacturer protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic hand tools, and a valid driver’s license. Expect a fast-paced environment with potential for growth and a strong earning potential per installed unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous technical experience or mechanical knowledge is preferred.
• GPS, radio, or accessory installation experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Own basic mechanic hand tools (socket sets, wrenches, rechargeable tools).
• Valid driver’s license meeting MEI Auto Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service GPS tracking devices in vehicles for our dealerships and customers.
• Diagnose technical issues and determine proper solutions.
• Follow manufacturer protocols and document all service and installation actions accurately.
• Conduct quality audits and troubleshoot errors or complaints.
• Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports.
• Complete MEI-provided training on all production processes.
• Multi-task effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to ensure operational efficiency and asset control.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
