Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc is seeking a GPS Technician to install, configure, maintain, and repair GPS devices in company transportation units. The role supports GPS database management, camera system installations, field data collection, and QA across Texas and New Mexico.

The position requires travel to multiple company locations, working with GPS equipment and related assets. A valid driver's license and willingness to work varying shifts are expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months’ experience maintaining and repairing GPS equipment.
  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Bilingual (English–Spanish) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic equipment and GPS systems required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools required.
  • Willingness to learn emerging vehicle and GPS technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update GPS databases.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission GPS devices and associated equipment.
  • Install and remove camera systems in company transportation units.
  • Perform GPS operational activities, including field data collection, data management and quality control.
  • Create, process, and close work orders upon completion.
  • Travel regularly to company locations throughout Texas and New Mexico.
