Job Summary

The GPS Finish Dozer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Dozer, including leveling and scooping soil, and controlling the equipment to move rocks and debris.

Primary Responsibilities

• Avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, workers, and falling objects.
• Perform equipment inspections, check fluid levels, visually inspect, start engines, and operate switches and levers.
• Align the machine with reference stakes or guidelines, following hand signals from crew members.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, and materials using trucks, tractors, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, responding to signals from crew members.
