Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a GPS Technician to gather GPS data for natural gas infrastructure and keep facility records current. This role partners with locators and communicates project updates to the public.

The position involves outdoor work, lifting and moving materials, and adherence to safety and operator qualifications. On-site training is provided, with benefits and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience collecting GPS data in the utility industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate GPS data collection of existing gas infrastructure to ensure up-to-date facility records
• Collaborate with locators to develop and execute work plans for designated areas
• Serve as a liaison to the public, effectively communicating project updates and ensuring transparency on behalf of the client.
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications
• Performs other related tasks as requested by leadership
