Job summary

Turner-Mining-Group-LLC is seeking an experienced GPS Dozer Operator / Team Lead for a direct placement in Front Royal, VA. You will operate CAT dozers, verify 3D site models, and lead field crews to complete mass earthwork on time and on grade.

The role requires 4+ years of heavy dozer operation, 2+ years using Trimble GPS, and a proven leadership background. OSHA 10, valid license, and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of heavy dozer operation experience, civil earthwork preferred.
• 2+ years using Trimble GPS-guided systems for grade layout and model verification.
• 2+ years leading site crews and managing daily field workflows.
• Valid Driver's License and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Familiarity with HeavyJob or similar daily logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT dozers for mass excavation, grading, and site setup.
• Set up Trimble GPS bases/rovers, lay out grade stakes, verify models against plans.
• Direct field crews, delegate tasks, and report progress to the Project Lead.
• Maintain daily equipment logs and track site production using HeavyJob or similar software.
• Provide auxiliary equipment support (skid steers, rollers) as needed.
• Lead daily toolbox talks and enforce safety protocols on active work sites.
