Job summary

The Ohio State University College of Dentistry is seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor, Clinical track, to serve as the General Practice Residency (GPR) Program Director. The role combines program administration, curriculum development, and hands-on teaching to deliver high-quality general dentistry education for residents.

The successful candidate will lead didactic and clinical training, supervise residents, mentor faculty, and ensure compliance with CODA accreditation standards

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and a CODA-accredited GPR certificate.
• Qualifications required to obtain an Ohio dental license and hospital privileges at OSU Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, administration, and academic components of the GPR program.
• Provide didactic and clinical instruction, curriculum development, and resident mentoring.
• Collaborate with faculty and departments to ensure accreditation standards are met.
• Maintain program accreditation readiness and participate in site visits and audits.
• Represent the GPR program at professional meetings and community outreach.
