William Blair, a premier global advisory firm, seeks an Associate for its GP-led Secondary Advisory team in New York. You will lead due diligence, model complex GP-led transactions and prepare client-ready proposals, contributing to deal execution and investor relations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years in investment banking, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Prior investment banking experience required (ideally, in a secondary advisory role).
• 1+ years experience as an Investment Banking Associate strongly preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Deep, sophisticated understanding of accounting and finance.
• Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills.
• Travel required: approximately 10% to 30%

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence, research, analysis and documentation of potential and live transactions.
• Lead extensive financial modeling to analyze GP-led transactions utilizing thoughtful due diligence and broad finance knowledge.
• Develop, produce and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, showing knowledge of secondary market product solutions.
• Engage with analysts in the development of marketing materials that highlight William Blair’s competitive advantages.
• Participate in growth of the team, facilitating analyst development and scaling of the PCA platform.
• Mentor analysts, providing constructive feedback and ensuring senior team awareness of contributions.
