Job summary

Koniag Services, Inc. is looking for a COTS System Engineer (GovTA SME) with a Top-Secret security clearance to support our government customer in Washington, DC. You will oversee implementation and deployment of system features, while providing advanced troubleshooting and mentorship.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience, including federal program management expertise and strong knowledge of payroll regulations. We offer competitive compensation and an extensive benefits package including 401K matching and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience including 3 years in a federal program management or SME role.
• Experience leading large-scale federal system implementations or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of HR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the T&A system in conjunction with government PMs.
• Oversee testing and deployment of new system features.
• Assist in developing project roadmaps and documentation.

Relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

Cloud (AWS)

Linux-based infrastructures

Federal payroll and time and attendance knowledge

Exceptional communication skills

Education

4 Year Degree in Information Technology or related field
