Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Project Manager with a TS/SCI security clearance to support IT services for a major government client in Aberdeen, MD. The role requires hands‑on leadership, technical IT operations knowledge, and strong project management with team supervision.

The successful candidate will lead a 20+ professional team, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure contract compliance and service quality across client locations.

Qualifications

• IT project management experience in government environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams while contributing to project work.
• Strong grasp of PM methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with PM tools and documentation delivery.
• Excellent communication with clients, management and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT service delivery projects with direct supervision of a 20+ member team.
• Plan, execute, and close IT support projects at multiple client locations.
• Develop plans, schedules, budgets aligned to contract requirements.
• Report progress, risks, issues, and performance to leadership.
• Ensure contract compliance, SLAs, and quality standards.
