The Manager will serve as the key liaison between Partners, clients, and professional staff, managing engagements and developing future leaders within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of public accounting auditing state and local governments.
• Current and valid CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of audit or review engagements across multiple projects.
• Maintain client contact and understand client's operations and control systems.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Keep the engagement Director or Partner informed of developments and propose solutions.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and adherence to standards, including advising clients.
• Ensure engagements are properly scheduled and staffed.
• Maintain understanding of the firm's audit approach.
• Create, track, and adhere to engagement budgets and identify expansion opportunities.
• Anticipate issues likely to arise during engagements.
• Review financial statements and other client deliverables.
• Direct, train, supervise, and review work of staff accountants.
• Participate in staff performance evaluations and counseling.
• Participate in the firm's business development efforts.
