Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The role focuses on decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery, including Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The manager will collaborate across HCUS teams to ensure territory coverage and financial goals are met.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by calling on government hospitals and facilities, focusing on core products, installed base conversion, and new accounts.
  • Manage equipment sales within the assigned geography, building strategic business plans and forecasts.
  • Close sales across HCUS portfolio, expanding existing business and prospecting new opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings and strategy sessions, leveraging specialists and sales teams for technical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate customer communication and provide market intelligence to optimize HCUS offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and internal departments to ensure success and satisfaction.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and configurations adhering to policies.
  • Use CRM tools effectively, maintaining accurate opportunity and account data.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure effective communication across departments for sales success and customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas, collaborate for positive customer experiences, and contribute to team goals.
Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years of successful medical imaging sales experience (preferred).
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Proven sales success, cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, manipulate items, stand, lift up to 10 pounds, and perform visual tasks.
Travel
  • Travel up to 80% based on business needs.
