Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary goal is to meet or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and excellent customer service. The main decision-makers and influencers include Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery departments, with key contacts such as Radiologists, Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The role involves collaboration across HCUS teams to ensure coverage and financial targets are achieved.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by engaging with government hospitals and facilities within assigned geography.
  • Drive sales of core HCUS portfolio products and convert installed base to new sales.
  • Target new customer accounts, focusing 80% of time on equipment sales within the geography.
  • Develop strategic business plans for government accounts.
  • Create accurate forecasts and close sales across the portfolio.
  • Expand existing business and prospect new opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings and strategy sessions to boost sales.
  • Leverage specialists and sales team for technical and clinical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate effective communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Provide market intelligence and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations following policies.
  • Ensure accurate booking documentation and CRM updates.
  • Manage sales opportunities and collaborate with the team.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain communication across departments for sales success.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas.
  • Work with service teams for positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to team environment.
Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO, and legal requirements.
  • Complete vendor credentialing processes.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years in selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years in medical sales, especially Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven success in strategic selling and closing.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills & Other Requirements
  • Ability to meet sales goals.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce (preferred).
  • Good time management.
Physical Requirements
  • Sitting, using hands, standing, lifting up to 10 pounds, and vision capabilities.
Travel
  • Up to 80% travel may be required.
