Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, focusing on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to meet or exceed annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Key decision makers and influencers include Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery departments, with call points such as Radiologists, Healthcare Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Surgery Administrators. The role involves collaboration across HCUS business areas to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by calling on government hospitals and facilities, focusing on the HCUS portfolio.
  • Drive sales of core products, convert installed base to new sales, and develop new customer accounts.
  • Spend approximately 80% of time managing equipment sales in hospitals based on territory plans.
  • Build and update strategic business plans for targeting key government accounts.
  • Produce accurate monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Close sales across the portfolio within assigned geography and accounts.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to win strategic business.
  • Participate in strategic customer meetings and leverage HCUS sales team members for technical and clinical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate and support effective customer communication.
  • Share market intelligence and make recommendations to optimize HCUS’s offerings.
  • Maintain effective communication between customers and cross-functional teams to ensure success and positive experience.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, and site configurations adhering to policies.
  • Follow established booking and CRM processes, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Maintain detailed records and collaborate with the sales team.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the territory and accounts.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain effective communication across departments to ensure sales success and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Drive efforts to provide superior customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas within the assigned geography.
  • Collaborate with service and other teams for positive customer experiences.
  • Follow business processes and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain transparent communication and align behaviors with company values.
Other
  • Comply with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards.
  • Pass vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccine mandates if applicable.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years of successful medical imaging sales experience (preferred).
  • Proven record of strategic selling and closing sales.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS degree (preferred).
Skills and Other Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and exceed sales goals.
  • Strong cross-functional and customer orientation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—presentation, written, and oral.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Effective time management skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit for 75-100% of work time.
  • Use hands for manipulation, up to 100% of work time.
  • Stand, talk, and hear for 75% of work time.
  • Lift and carry up to 10 pounds, up to 20% of work time.
  • Close vision at twenty inches or less.
Travel
  • Travel up to 80% of the time may be required.
