Job summary

Areté in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Government Property Specialist who will manage government and customer owned property in compliance with FAR and DFARS. This exempt, full-time role reports to the Government Property System Lead and requires meticulous record-keeping and coordination with Contracts, IT, Security, and Operations.

U.S. citizenship and Top Secret clearance eligibility are required; travel about 30% (CA, VA). Strong MS Office skills and experience with eQuip are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior relevant experience in Government Property management.
• U.S. citizenship is required; Top Secret clearance eligibility is required.
• Travel approximately 30% (CA, VA) and ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor government property receiving, identification, storage, movement and issue operations.
• Support improvements to property management processes, tools, and training.
• Prepare property accountability reports and inventories as needed.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Program Management, IT, Security, Supply Chain and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with FAR Part 45, DFARS Part 245 and related clauses.
