Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience using procurement software programs.
• 1 year experience on a government contract.
• Extensive knowledge of FAR regulations and Buy American Act.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for all micro and macro commodity procurement activities.
• Review procurement activities to ensure FAR and procurement requirements compliance.
• Communicate with vendors during procurement solicitation processes.
• Participate in procurement meetings and progress reports.
• Issue BPAs and POs for commodity purchases.
• Create, modify and closeout Purchase Orders.
• Issue urgent and emergency POs as needed.
• Ensure accuracy of CAP Reports and vendor lists.
