Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a Database Administrator to support government solutions in Laurel/Columbia, MD. This role requires five days on-site weekly at a government customer site and offers extensive benefits.

You will manage MS SQL Server and MariaDB across on-prem and cloud environments, automate tasks, and work within a small, dedicated team to ensure system reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Ten years experience as a DBA in programs/contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required; 4 additional years may substitute for a degree.
• DOD 8570.01-M with IAT Level II certification (CCNA-SEC, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, SSCP).
• Must have TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain MS SQL Server and MariaDB databases across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot database issues and automate repetitive tasks where possible.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to meet mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and performance tuning processes.
