Job summary

ZenaTech in the Metro Washington DC area seeks a Government Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of federal contracts, from proposal development to execution and close-out, ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will work closely with our business development and drone product teams, maintain registrations (SAM.gov, JCCS, PIEE/WAWF), and monitor regulatory changes to keep contracts competitive and compliant.

Qualifications

• 4+ years federal contracting experience.
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS and government regulations.
• Strong writing and document management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Aerospace/defense background preferred.
• US Citizenship (or meets FAR/DFARS requirements)

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage government contracts in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Manage government contracting lifecycle (pre-award, post-award, closeout).
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, NIST 800-171, and other relevant regulations.
• Maintain SAM.gov, JCCS, PIEE/WAWF registrations.
• Support capture and business development strategy.
• Track opportunities in federal portals.
• Develop pricing structures and contract vehicles.
• Monitor changes in government regulations and update processes accordingly.
