LexisNexis Legal & Professional, Dayton-based, is seeking a Government Contracts Specialist to own federal and state contract vehicles from awards through closeout. You will collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product to keep contracts compliant and commercially valuable.

You’ll manage lifecycle activities, renewals, amendments, and pricing updates while maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills when working with customers, contracting officers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate contract documentation and records.
• Ability to analyze contract requirements and identify risks, gaps, or improvement opportunities.
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary business owner for assigned federal and state government contract vehicles, including GSA schedules and FEDLINK.
• Manage full lifecycle of contracts, including awards, modifications, renewals, extensions, amendments, pricing updates, and closeout.
• Maintain a comprehensive calendar of contract expiration dates, renewal windows, reporting deadlines, and milestones.
• Proactively initiate renewals and modifications to prevent lapses in contract coverage.
• Maintain accurate contract files, documents, amendments, and related records.
• Ensure contract information is reflected in internal systems and government procurement platforms.
• Partner with Sales, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support contract administration.
• Identify and resolve contract-related issues before they impact customers or the business.
