Job summary

CohnReznick’s Government Contract Advisory team in Virginia is seeking a seasoned Advisory Manager to deliver comprehensive government contracting services. You will collaborate with client management, lead audits, and guide pricing strategies while ensuring FAR/CAS compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years in government contracting, and strong communication with senior leadership. Competitive compensation aligns with the firm’s total rewards package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in government contracting.
• Experience with Indirect Rates and Incurred Cost submissions.
• DFARS business system knowledge, estimates or CPSR is a plus.
• Strong analytical, technical, and advisory skills.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects for government contracting clients, collaborating with senior firm leadership.
• Manage business system readiness assessments and mock audits (Accounting, Estimating, CPSR, Property Systems).
• Evaluate indirect rate structures and provide alternatives.
• Analyze client pricing strategies and incurred cost submissions.
• Advise on DCAA disputes and responses; ensure FAR/CAS compliance.
• Develop internal controls recommendations and process improvements.
• Foster client relationships and support engagement management.
• Contribute to business development and proposal efforts.
