Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aerospace System (NGAS) in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Accountant to join the Business Management Organization on-site. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and submitting customer billings, analyzing financial data, and supporting various government and commercial contracts.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 2 years of experience (or a master's with relevant experience), strong Excel skills, and the ability to obtain a US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years accounting experience or Master’s with related experience.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work on-site in Melbourne, FL and obtain a US government clearance.
• Government contracting exposure and GAAP/FAR/ CAS/IFRS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, reviews, and submits customer billings.
• Analyzes financial information for Government and Commercial billings.
• Maintains aged billed receivables and analyzes unbilled balances.
• Supports monthly cash collection and forecasting goals.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers and supports banking/treasury needs.
