Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in government contract billing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and government contracting standards.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process a minimum of 150 basic FFP, T&M, and commercial invoices per month accurately and in compliance with established billing requirements.
• Support revenue, EBIT, cash flow, and collections goals by ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing.
• Maintain billing information and financial records in enterprise financial systems to support accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and applicable accounting regulations.
• Follow established billing policies, procedures, and internal controls to support successful internal and external audits.
• Research and provide support for customer billing inquiries and invoice-related issues.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready billing documentation.
• Apply knowledge of government contracting requirements, including FAR, DFARS, DCAA, DCMA, CAS, and SOX requirements.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and process improvements to increase billing efficiency, reduce cycle times, and support continuous improvement.
