Qualifications

• 4+ years of public accounting experience, including State and Local Government audit.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license preferred; CPA eligible candidates considered.
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical and communication skills.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for developing team members.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements with excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through issuance.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing and project execution.
• Review workpapers, assess risks and ensure compliance with standards.
• Serve as trusted advisor and primary client contact.
• Supervise, mentor and develop associates and senior associates.
• Build expertise in governmental accounting and GASB/GAGAS standards.
• Support practice growth through client service and business development.
• Drive process improvements for the Government Practice.
