Job summary

CBIZ is seeking an experienced professional to lead government entity audits, including state and local financial statements and single audits. You will act as a trusted advisor, manage engagement teams, and drive quality, delivery, and client satisfaction across multiple relationships.

The role requires CPA certification, 5+ years in public accounting, and 3+ years of supervisory experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 3 years supervisory experience.
• Active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage audits of governmental entities including state and local financial statement audits, single audits, and other compliance audits.
• Serve as client’s trusted advisor, communicate solution options to client and team.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff; ensure quality control and on-time delivery.
• Billing and realization on assigned clients; explain variances.
• Participate in practice development activities that generate new business and cross-serves.
