Beckman Coulter is looking for a dynamic sales leader to join our team! Join us as our new Government Accounts Manager, where you will influence, navigate and negotiate at the executive level within your partnered customer accounts. Working cross-functionally, you will provide insight, direction and leadership to build an overall business strategy focused on the Government Health Systems goals from a business and financial perspective that will meet the needs of the hospital network and Beckman Coulter Diagnostics alike.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with the regional teams to lead sales campaigns while developing strategies/tactics for your respective federal government accounts.
  • Partner with key executives and decision-makers within Government Health systems to help articulate their strategies, create value, and deliver profitable solutions to meet their needs, positioning Beckman Coulter’s products and services as the partner of choice.
  • Guide and coach customers and internal teams through the RFP/RFQ process. Provide education and insights regarding federal acquisition regulations, government and audit provisions, federal government contracts, and purchasing trends.
  • Build a strategic YOY business plan within each Government Health System, incorporating key value drivers for both the customer and Beckman Coulter, to drive YOY revenue growth and sustained partnership.
  • Utilize DBS tools to lead sales campaigns with local regional teams, ensuring understanding of the needs of the entire Government Health System and how individual actions contribute to the bigger customer partnership.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 9+ years of commercial experience with at least 5 years of prior experience within the government space.
  • Strong knowledge and/or expertise in government accounts, with intimate knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), including contracting procedures and regulations. A solid understanding of federal supply schedules (FSS) and government services agreements (GSA), proposal processes, and expertise in articulating differentiators necessary for maximum economic benefit.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiation; ability to support teams and work at high levels within customer decision-making units to negotiate complex, profitable deals aligned with revenue and margin objectives.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; ability to analyze complex issues, communicate effectively, develop action plans, and bring them to successful completion.
  • Proven track record of leading large, complex sales campaigns.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting and may be adjusted in the future. The role is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
