Position Overview

The Government Account Manager will be responsible for sales of the Fujifilm Healthcare Americas Corporation’s (HCUS) full portfolio (Endoscopy, Modality Solutions, and Medical Informatics) to key Federal Government medical treatment facilities, with a focus on the Department of Defense (DOD), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Indian Health Services (IHS), and select State agencies within a defined territory. The primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed defined annual budgets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting, extensive product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. The focus will be on decision makers and influencers within Radiology, Biomedical, Women’s Healthcare, and Surgery, including Radiologists, Healthcare Directors, Biomed Chiefs, Surgeons, and Administrators. The role involves working across HCUS's business areas to support existing and new initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and territory coverage.

Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Bookings and Revenue
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by calling on Government hospitals and facilities, focusing on HCUS portfolio products and installed base conversions.
  • Develop and update strategic business plans for targeting government accounts.
  • Forecast accurately and close sales within assigned geography and targets.
  • Expand existing business and prospect for new opportunities, leveraging specialists and sales team members for technical needs.
Customer Intimacy
  • Coordinate effective communication and market intelligence sharing to optimize customer needs and portfolio offerings.
  • Maintain communication between customers and internal departments to ensure sales success and positive experience.
Sales Operations
  • Prepare quotes, contracts, site configurations, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Use CRM tools proficiently to manage opportunities, contacts, and reporting.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Maintain communication across departments to ensure successful installations and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in meetings and special projects as needed.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve sales quotas and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
  • Maintain transparent communication and align behaviors with corporate strategies.
Other Responsibilities
  • Comply with FDA, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
  • Pass vendor credentialing requirements and adhere to COVID-19 policies.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 4+ years selling to Federal Government accounts (preferred).
  • 4+ years medical sales experience, especially in Medical Imaging (preferred).
  • Proven success in strategic selling and closing.
Educational Requirements
  • BA/BS (preferred).
Skills and Requirements
  • Ability to obtain sales and meet/exceed goals.
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Physical and Travel Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and perform tasks as specified.
  • Travel up to 80% based on business needs.
