Elite Law Firm seeks a Governance & Risk Analyst to join its sophisticated governance function in New York. You will collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders on conflicts research, new client intake, and risk management across matter openings and ethical walls.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a law firm, strong analytical skills, and precision handling sensitive information within an AmLaw environment. Experience with Intapp, 3E or Aderant is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of law firm Conflicts, Governance, Risk, Intake, or Records experience.
• Strong conflicts research and analytical capabilities.
• Experience interpreting complex conflicts reports.
• Familiarity with new business intake and matter-opening processes.
• Experience working with attorneys and senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional attention to detail and judgment.
• The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
• Experience within a sophisticated AmLaw environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex conflicts research and analysis.
• Participate in new client and matter intake processes.
• Identify and resolve potential conflicts and ethical walls.
• Support outside counsel guidelines and records governance.
• Contribute to risk and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare governance reporting and analysis for leadership.
• Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders on risk issues.
• Assist with governance program improvements.
