Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking an experienced project/program manager to lead government contracting initiatives and implement Deltek/Costpoint solutions for commercial and federal clients. You will manage multi-phase projects, mentor teams, and contribute to business development efforts.

The role requires strong SDLC expertise, client-facing leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50%. CPA or PMP is preferred, with a background in accounting or business consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Management or related field is required.
• Eight+ years of related experience in delivering financial and management consulting services.
• Experience with Commercial and/or Federal clients and with Deltek/Costpoint implementations.
• CPA, PMP or similar certification is desirable.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills; ability to guide teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for all project phases and work directly with clients to achieve project objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise with SDLC for a PMO supporting technical project managers.
• Evaluate and implement packaged software solutions with both technical and business perspectives.
• Develop methodologies and tools tailored to the government contracting industry.
• Identify new business opportunities; participate in proposals, market research, and internal initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional client service and communicate effectively with executives and teams.
• Manage day-to-day project activities; assign and oversee project team members.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to consultants and clients.
• Contribute to Consulting Practice management and personal professional development.
