Job summary

BCI's Dahlgren Division seeks a full-time Project Accountant to support the contracts team. The role covers cradle‑to‑grave contracting, invoicing, and monthly technical and financial reporting, with duties aligned to contract terms and compliance requirements.

Three plus years GovCon accounting, DoD contract familiarity, a Bachelor’s in a business field; CPA encouraged. On-site in Dahlgren, VA with telework after six months with supervisor approval.

Qualifications

• Minimum GovCon accounting experience, including A/P, A/R and accounting procedures.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; CPA encouraged.
• Advanced Excel and familiarity with Word/PowerPoint expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate invoices in accordance with contract directions.
• Review terms and conditions for compliance and accuracy.
• Generate technical and financial monthly reports and ad-hoc reports.
• Budget and forecast project funding and track expenses across tasks.
