DLH Corporation, Bethesda, MD, seeks a Director of Pricing to lead a small pricing team and partner with Growth, Capture, Finance, Contracts, and Operations on pricing strategies for federal opportunities.

The role combines strategic direction with hands-on modeling and proposal development, requiring deep GovCon pricing expertise and executive-facing communication. This leadership position offers growth and a direct impact on win rates and margins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related field.
• 16 years of progressive U.S. Government contractor pricing experience, incl. lead on complex pursuits.
• Experience leading pricing efforts and mentoring other pricing professionals.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Government contracting, FAR/DFARS, and DFARS Estimating System criteria.
• Proven ability to develop and execute pricing strategies for complex procurements.
• Experience with Price-to-Win methodologies, competitive intelligence, costs and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing function, setting priorities, workloads, standards, and development of pricing staff.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies for major, complex bids and proposals.
• Provide guidance during RFP analysis, translating requirements into pricing approaches.
• Develop, review, and validate detailed pricing models, cost estimates, and rate structures.
• Present pricing recommendations to executives and support bid/no-bid decisions.
• Direct Price-to-Win activities factoring competitive intelligence and market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and DFARS Estimating System criteria.
• Support recompete pipeline with margin protection while remaining competitive.
• Establish pricing policies, templates, models, and controls.
