Job summary

Terrestris LLC is seeking a Junior- GovCon Billing / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance & Accounting team in a growing government contracting environment. The role supports daily AR and government billing operations, including invoice preparation, submission, and payment reconciliation.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with numbers, able to read contract requirements, and translate them into accurate billing.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or related field.
• Ability to read contracts and translate terms into billing requirements.
• Experience submitting invoices through government portals is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand customer and government contracts, billing terms, and invoicing requirements.
• Set up customers, contracts, billing information, and terms in the ERP system.
• Prepare, process, and distribute government invoices on schedule.
• Review invoices for completeness and compliance with contract terms.
• Apply different government contract billing types (FFP, T&M, LOE, Milestone).
• Submit invoices via WAWF, IPP, or other portals.
• Track submissions, status, rejections, and payments; follow up as needed.
• Assist with travel and expense report processing and client billings.
• Maintain organized financial records and support audits.
