Job summary

SOSi is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support a DoD customer by building and sustaining scalable, secure cloud environments across AWS and Azure. You will implement IAM/RBAC, automate deployments with IaC, and ensure governance and cost optimization within IL2/IL4/IL5 domains.

Responsibilities include deploying secure cloud architectures, monitoring resource usage, and coordinating with other Work Orders for cross-organization efficiency and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing GovCloud-based infrastructures across AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
• Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and zero trust in cloud envs.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP and DoD IL4/IL5.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments in AWS and Azure.
• Configure IAM/RBAC and manage cloud security groups and firewalls.
• Optimize networking (VPC peering, VPNs) for secure operations.
• Develop IaC solutions to automate secure deployments.
• Contribute to security/compliance reports and audits.
• Track Kubernetes and cloud usage with GovCloud tools.
• Coordinate with other Work Orders for cost and usage reporting.
• Advise on workload placement across IL2/IL4/IL5 environments.
