Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer for GovCloud to design, develop, and operate highly available backend services in a large-scale cloud platform. You will contribute to concurrency, data management, and AI-enabled tooling across multiple data centers, with focus on reliability and security.

Ideal candidates will have a related technical degree, 3+ years of backend software experience, and expertise in Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.

Qualifications

Requires a related technical degree.
3+ years backend software development experience.
Deep knowledge of programming in Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.
Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.
Experience with Agile development and Test Driven Development.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting for critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools and platforms on public cloud like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems across data centers.
Write production-grade software with AI as a core part of the development workflow.
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and microservices with Kubernetes/Docker/Mesos.
