Job summary

VTG is seeking a Web Developer in Chantilly, VA to design, develop, test, and deploy web solutions using custom scripts, web parts and SharePoint workflows. You will work closely with customers, manage permissions, and ensure security governance across classified and unclassified domains.

The role requires a TS/SCI with poly and a BS in CS or related field, with 0–3 years of experience. Strong front-end skills, client-side frameworks, and collaboration across functions are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in information systems/CS or related field with 0–3 years experience.
• Experience with client-side JS frameworks and front-end tech.
• Experience using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer for workflows.
• Ability to enforce site standards including security policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork in gov/contractor environments.

Responsibilities

• Admin/design government web-pages and knowledge repositories across domains.
• Manage site permissions, groups, user attributes, and pages/portals.
• Develop and implement content management workflows and approvals.
• Perform quality assurance of posted content.
• Participate in website/portal design projects for discoverability.
• Research and implement modern web technologies for UI improvements.
• Create visual concepts using JavaScript and React/Angular/jQuery/Bootstrap.
• Demonstrate visual designs by gathering data from sources.
• Consult with customers to expand website scope and features.
