Job summary

SAIC is seeking a SharePoint Designer in Chantilly, VA to support a government R&D program. The role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly and involves developing, testing, and deploying web solutions with custom scripts, web parts, and advanced tooling.

You will administer government web-pages, manage permissions, and implement content workflows while collaborating with multiple functions to deliver enterprise solutions. Strong customer service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/CS or related field with 9 years of experience, or equivalent substitutions.
• Client-side web technologies and JavaScript frameworks experience.
• InfoPath and SharePoint Designer for workflows.

Responsibilities

• Admin and design government web-pages and knowledge repositories across classified and unclassified domains.
• Manage site permissions, groups, user attributes, and pages/portals.
• Create and implement content workflows including task review and posting activity.
• Perform spot-checks and QA of posted content.
• Participate in website/portal design to maximize discoverability and access.
• Research modern web technologies to improve interfaces and workflow efficiency.
• Create visual concepts using JavaScript and AJAX, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Demonstrate visual expertise by gathering data from sources for engaging designs.
• Consult with customer to expand website scope and features.
