Zusammenfassung

HDR is seeking a high-performing compliance and accounting professional to lead government compliance, manage HDR's indirect rate cycle, and enhance reporting through technology-enabled processes. The role interfaces with HDR teams and external auditors to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.

The candidate will mentor staff, implement automated review processes, and monitor FAR/CAS changes to drive process improvements across HDR's government contracting activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, consulting, or a related function.
• Proficiency in using data analytics, process automation and/or reporting software, such as Microsoft Power BI, Snowflake and Tableau - interest in leveraging technology to redefine traditional finance processes.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards
• CPA or equivalent designation
• A/E/C industry and/or public accounting experience

Aufgaben

• Prepare HDR indirect cost rates in accordance with FAR, CAS and AASHTO guidance.
• Prepare federal incurred cost submissions per FAR rules and DCAA guidance; lead internal collaboration with accounting staff and external government review/audit.
• Review expense reports for HDR compliance and oversee staff; design automated expense review processes.
• Conduct monthly transactional reviews and coordinate with auditors and HDR teams to meet Government Compliance objectives.
• Collaborate with external auditors and HDR team to promote cost accounting excellence and government contract support.
• Design and implement tech-enabled audit tracking mechanisms for government client audits.
• Monitor FAR, CAS and industry guidance changes and advise finance leadership.
• Design and implement monitoring processes and reporting solutions using Power BI or similar tools.
• Support overhead rate forecasts with analytics and tech-enabled solutions for accuracy.
• Mentor and develop staff across the team.
