Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk management across Federal government programs in the GGDO.

The role focuses on coordinating with PMO, Captur e, Sales and Solutions Architecture to identify risks and drive mitigation strategies, while balancing a flexible, balanced work-life culture. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in program management and in building strategic business cases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in program management or metrics-driven decision making.
• 5+ years developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with AWS service teams to meet technical commitments to customers in named programs.
• Coordinate a matrixed team drawn from Federal business verticals to support specific programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop the long-term strategy for AWS in the Federal program space.
• Document risk and proposed AWS mitigation or response strategies with PMO and Contracts.
