Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Levittown, NY is seeking a skilled Smoked Salmon Cutter to expertly slice salmon to customer specifications, ensure quality and safety, and deliver friendly service in a bustling marketplace.

This hands-on role combines craftsmanship with customer interaction; you will maintain a clean workstation, follow health and sanitation policies, and contribute to a superior shopping experience.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with seafood, including cutting and filleting fish.
• Strong knife-handling skills and comfort working with raw and smoked fish.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented attitude with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and engage customers warmly, providing knowledgeable and friendly service.
• Slice smoked salmon to exact thickness and portion requirements per customer requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
• Properly handle, label, and store smoked salmon products to ensure freshness and safety.
• Monitor product rotation and manage inventory to minimize waste.
• Answer customer questions and recommend related products or specialty items.
• Assist with general deli operations, including restocking, cleaning, and team support.
• Follow all company health, safety, and sanitation policies.
