Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking Team Members to support Prepared Foods with food preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking. Team Members ensure a positive store image and provide courteous, friendly service to customers and colleagues on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Cuts, prepares, and serves a variety of hot and cold foods.
• Samples products to customers.
• Stocks hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods.
• Checks in-stock product dates to ensure freshness.
• Bails and consolidates recyclables.
• Assists Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work with required trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
