Job summary

Crossway Church SFV seeks an Associate Pastor to serve alongside the Preaching and Teaching Pastor and elders in pastoral care, teaching, and equipping the congregation. This elder-track position aims to develop leadership, with eventual consideration for elder installation.

Youth ministries oversight includes junior high and high school students, while maintaining a focus on Word-centered preaching, discipleship, shepherding, and leadership development for the whole church.

Qualifications

• Must meet elder qualifications per 1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:5–9.
• Gospel-centered, devoted to God, prayer, and study of Scripture.
• Ability to supervise and train leaders, and to shepherd and teach the church.

Responsibilities

• Oversee youth ministries (junior high and high school).
• Lead Word-centered teaching, discipleship, and pastoral care for the entire church.
• Assist Preaching and Teaching Pastor and elders in carrying out church vision.
