Job summary

Minnesota Historical Society is seeking a Google Services Administrator to lead Google Workspace administration for over 400 staff, volunteers, and interns. You will manage user roles, device management, and incidents, and partner with IT and business units to mature Google Workspace use across the enterprise.

The role is a primary enterprise system administrator for MNHS Google Workspace domains, coordinating with sites and teams to optimize productivity and security.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technology experience.
• Five years in a technical support role.
• Three years in Google Cloud design with at least three services (Gmail, Google Groups, Data Migration, Security, Networking, Databases, Management).
• Completed Google certification programs; hands-on product certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide rollout of custom G Suite solutions and productivity integrations.
• Document and support business rules and procedures for the Google platform.
• Serve as main point of contact for Google administration, support, and incidents.
• Oversee email retention to comply with records policies.
• Escalate and resolve issues with Google Support promptly.
• Manage publishing and revocation of applications and extensions.
