Job summary

Slalom is hiring a Data Engineer for its Google COE to design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud. You will work with BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker, and related services in collaborative teams.

You will participate in design sessions, deliver on backlog items, and operate in a hybrid environment with in-person collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud data platforms and modern data pipelines.
• Proficient in Python, Java, and SQL for data engineering tasks.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on GCP.
• Deliver solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker.
• Participate in design sessions and complete development items in backlog.
• Collaborate in a hybrid environment and engage with clients as needed.
