Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer for its Google COE in a hybrid role focused on building data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will work with BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker and other GCP services to deliver scalable data solutions.

You will help migrate and modernize data estates, enable governed analytics, and accelerate AI-ready data foundations while collaborating with client teams and Slalom’s Google COE.

Qualifications

• Experience building data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency with BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize enterprise data platforms on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deliver solutions using BigQuery, Dataplex, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Looker.
