HireArt, working with The Plum Catalyst, seeks a part-time Vehicle Operator in Grand Rapids, MN. You will operate a self-driving ride service, ensuring safe, clean, and courteous transportation for riders along the goMARTI route.

The role emphasizes organized daily reporting and adherence to safety protocols. The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus and requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and ability to assist passengers including those in wheelchairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• 3+ years of driving experience with an impeccable driving record
• Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with advanced technology
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs routinely
• Able to assist individuals in wheelchairs, including pushing them up ramps and into vehicles
• Possesses a systematic and process-driven approach
• Highly organized and adept at documenting daily summaries
• Maintains composure and effectiveness in demanding situations

Responsibilities

• Operate Grand Rapids’ self-driving ride service and provide on-demand transportation within the goMARTI route.
• Engage with passengers and the operations team regularly.
• Offer insights to enhance vehicle comfort, aesthetics, and the passenger journey.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
