Job summary

The City of Griffin is seeking a part-time Golf Shop Attendant to support daily operations and guest services at the Golf Shop. You will greet guests, operate the point-of-sale system, and ensure accurate cash handling and inventory records.

This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a friendly, professional appearance. Flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of cash handling and customer service experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of golf course etiquette and basic golf rules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and email.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operates the point-of-sale system and maintains a proper cash drawer.
• Follows opening/closing procedures for the Golf Shop.
• Maintains accurate inventory sales and customer database records.
• Upsells merchandise and memberships and assists with tee-times.
