Job summary

City of Apple Valley's Valleywood Golf Course seeks a Golf Shop Attendant to support operations, sales, and clubhouse services. You will assist with reservations, merchandise, leagues, and event operations while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Open daily with flexible hours, this role requires basic math, MS Office and POS familiarity, and the ability to multi-task and deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a service-related field.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older by start of position.
• Working knowledge of MS Office software, POS software and GHIN handicapping system.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service relations and positively promote and represent the golf course and the City of Apple Valley.
• Basic math skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multi task.

Responsibilities

• Assist with golf leagues, tournament operations, merchandise sales, and cart/range operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, reservations, and payments.
• Oversee daily golf operations in absence of supervisors.
• Open and close clubhouse, manage register and deposits.
• Promote a professional, customer-service oriented atmosphere.
